Children's Retro Pedal Cars

Oooh to be a little girl again! This is exactly what I would tell my mommy
I would want for Christmas! Maybe she would have been able to afford
it by the time I graduated lol! With 5 younger sisters, this might have been
pretty tough for my folks to provide for me. Maybe if we all wanted this
and shared it...yea that would have happened! There would have been
black eyes and bruises for sure, and probably lots of whipping from the folks!

If I could find one of these for a big girl, I would be sporting this all over town!
Isn't this just the cutest! When I was a little girl some of my friends had these
little pedal cars and I use to just envy them wishing I had one too. Most of them
were the little red cars or the famous bright  red fire engine. Today there are
all kinds of cars and in pretty color options too. Especially the pink babes.
My favorite is the Pretty Pink Princess Antique Retro Pedal Car.

I saw one today in an online children's boutique and thought how I would
love to get one of these for my little granddaughter Emma. I choked on
the price of this toy car! They were asking $239.00 for it! Ok I'm thinking,
this is for a toddler for crying up a river, are they nuts! So I went and did
a search and the cheapest I could find was at Amazon. Still expenisive but
at least it was a little more reasonable sorta at $177.85. Maybe I'll just
keep researching these. It's amazing how expensive kid's toys are today! I
do love this little car, but I wonder how long she would fit in it?! Would it
really be worth it? How much would she really get to ride it? Hmmm

Here's one for the little prince too! The Hot Rodder Petal Car

Found this one for $163.88. Sure beats $239.00 at that boutique!

Some of my other favorite things for my Miss Emma are the
Pink Princess Tricycle

Found this one for $206.94 instead of $299.00 at that boutique!

And then I love these! Isn't Pink Sweet!

These two are anywhere from $250.00 and up with the plane at one place I saw
$495.00! Yikes! She won't be gettin that! Well I better be saving my pennies.
I have 6 months before Christmas and I would really like to get her a pink pedal something!

Tata for Now! Have a Pink Sweet Day!

  3. Hi Cindy and welcome! :) Thank you so much for your compliments! Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thank you also for thinking of my husband and we certainly are appreciative of the prayers. We need them.

I just started my blog a couple of months ago and found it to be much easier than I thought it would be. It's a great window to share stuff and when I'm not having to spend all my time sewing, I love working on this.

Thank you so much for the follow also! It's so nice to know that the work you put into these blogs is seen by somebody lol. Hope you will visit again, and thank you for taking the time to leave your comment.

Hugs to you and good luck! P.S. I love your work also. Do you have a website where people can purchase your items on line? If not you should! :)

  4. These are really cute! My sister had a small pedal car as a child, but I'm sure it wasn't in the price range of these. This was in the 40s. :-)
